Linking up to Can I Get a Whoop Whoop at Confessions of a Fabric Addict,
Here she is!! Boy, that feels great!! I am so excited to have this one completed. It has been "in the works" since about last March when I downloaded the instructions for the Schoenrock Cross block from quilterscache.com
Here is the simple envelope style back of the pillow, which is a fun combo of prints!! The aqua is a thin bias stripe, part of the Odds &Ends fabric line.
I wanted to go a little bit of the extra mile with this one so I took the extra time to put on a binding in the same solid brown that I used on the companion pillow I made last year.
I did some very simple quilting on it, using three colors of thread to blend with the different sections of the piecing. I used cream on the lightest bits, lime green on the aqua and green bits, and a bright cherry red in the center cross portion.
Here is my original list... click HERE.
Your pillows are lovely. I really like the color combinations you used.

DeleteLovely colors--and they make an awesome pair. Great job! My tattered couch pillows are so jealous. ;-)
ReplyDeleteIt only took me a year to finish the second pillow!! I am sure you can make new ones faster than me! Thanks for stopping by
DeleteGreat looking pillows! The coral, blue, and brown look great together. I'm very tempted to download that pattern too! :)
