Quilt of Valor is quilted!!

Sew Fresh Quilts

My Quilt of Valor has returned from the Longarmer, and it looks beautiful! I am excited to get the binding on it, and the label. Now if only I can find those labels.... You can see the whole top here.

Didn't my quilter, Rosemary do a fantastic job? She chose a gold thread that works so nicely with the pale gold flannel I sent her for the backing, and it picks up the few stars in the top that include gold.

I love the density of the quilting and the stars in the pattern. Won't it have such a wonderful crinkly texture once it is washed?

Hoping to have it all completed when the weather is better so I can finish up and get some nice outdoor shots of it. I will be happy to check off another project on my Q2 Finish-a-long list!

More to come soon!

  1. Very nice - what a wonderful job you and the quilter did on this. I am sure it will make someone very happy and appreciated when it is donated. Such a wonderful cause - thank you for doing this for one of our service personnel.

    1. Yes, it will be hard to send it off, but I know that these men and women should feel appreciated! It's the least I can do.
