My Mouthy Stitches 2 Finish

We are getting some nice fall color this week here. I love driving around and basking in the warm colors of fall knowing that dreary winter is not far behind.

This week I finished up my tote and the key fob for Mouthy Stitches 2. This swap has really been impressive. Trying to keep up with responding to so many pictures of great totes in progress is daunting. You want your secret partner to comment so you see if you're headed in the right direction! I definitely was happy when I got some feedback to what I was working on. But with so many participants, it means a lot of commenting!

The work in this group is extremely inspiring - I mean, really WHATEVER tote and keyring ends up in my mailbox, I have no doubt will be nice. And some of them are truly spectacular. (I do have a favorite, so my fingers are crossed that it's for me.) Here's what I ended up putting together...

I like a bag with at least a couple of pockets, so I made one large one on the exterior, and one small one on the inside. I really hope my partner is happy!

Not much else has been moving on my sewing list. I have to get into the swing this week and move something along! I have been struggling with a lot of sinus/face/mouth pain this past week. So much so that I actually went to the dentist to get the teeth checked out. That goodness it was not a tooth.

Now I need to move on and get my bee blocks done for the month! Happy fall!

  4. I just love your tote & keyring! The colors and design of your fabrics are gorgeous too :*) Must have a few pockets in a bag - it would never work for me otherwise! Hope you get the one you want :*)
